To commemorate the passing of Clive Dennier, a good friend to all, Michael Cawethorne and myself explored remote areas of the Scottish Highlands. We began on 14th January in the far north and wandered toward Loch Hourn, where our friend passed away. During the journey we tented and bothied, dug up food parcels, and before bog-wood fires, retold days spent with Clive in the hills he so loved. On 22nd February 2015, we said a final farewell to our friend.
In memory of Clive, we thank the Kintail and Lochaber mountain rescue teams who risked their lives searching Loch Hourn and the surrounding mountains. If he had survived his accident, they would have found him, I am sure. Thank them for their courage by donating to either of the two teams, or Scottish Mountain Rescue, via the images below.
